As an instructional designer at Hostos Community College I was a part of a committee put together to explore best practices and analysis of online learning at an urban community college. The goal of this research was to help justify and establish a pilot program for a fully online degree program.
In preparation of this program I was also tasked with designing an online assessment tool that would help prepare and measure student readiness for working in an online, or hybrid course modality.
This tool would eventually win the CUNY Outstanding Project Award.
